Hey Friends! My name is Rory O’Connell I’m an ABC certified dog trainer and the sole owner here at Jay’s Friends Dog Training. Jay and I are ready to meet some new friends and teach everyone some great manners! We’ve been professionally dog training since March 2022 and are certified by Animal Behavior College since August 2022. We’re now serving Clarksville, Nashville and surrounding areas! Our Services
Personalized Training
Online training
Go through our full obedience course with us 1 on 1 over zoom. Learn how to train your dog from the comfort of your own home with support from us over call, text, and video. Only $50 per session!!
Service Dog Prep
While we cannot certify service dogs, we can get y’all ready for the evaluation or exam. This program runs $70 a week for 5 weeks and will get you and your dog prepared for their service dog evaluation by teaching skills such as entering/exiting a building, ignoring their surroundings and obeying commands in a variety of locations and environments.

I absolutely loved this service!!!! I have a pit that we got from the shelter. she is the sweetest dog I've ever had but she was frantic and did not listen well at all. after the program with Roy she has done a full 180 on the way she acts and is just the smartest dog I've had. he is really good at catering to not only your dogs needs but the needs of the owner as well. I highly highly highly recommend him as a trainer the prices are very fair and he leaves you with the knowledge you need to continue the training after the program is done. I can't thank you enough Roy you have been an amazing help!!

I reached out to Jay’s Friends Dog Training when I was on the edge of rehoming my Lab/German Shepard mix, Apollo. Apollo had become difficult to walk, chewing on everything, tearing up everything and just would not listen. He is a super sweet guy and we loved him, but I knew that a change was needed. The very first lesson, I saw a change. I saw a change in the way that I “handled” Apollo which affected the way that he changed. In a major way, Rory “trained” me as well as Apollo. By Graduation Day, Apollo was less stressed, he listened better and was able to do commands like “Sit”, “Stay”, “Leave it”, and more. I give 5 Stars because Rory, is patient, prompt, communicated well with me and Apollo and patient. Thanks Rory!
