Hey Friends! My name is Rory O’Connell I’m an ABC certified dog trainer and the sole owner here at Jay’s Friends Dog Training. Jay and I are ready to meet some new friends and teach everyone some great manners! We’ve been professionally dog training since March 2022 and are certified by Animal Behavior College since August 2022. We’re now serving Clarksville, Nashville and surrounding areas! Personalized Training
AKC Programs
if your intention is to train your dog all the way to working dog or service dog levels then the AKC S.T.A.R puppy and/or the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) programs are a great place to start. The American Kennel Club is a staple for dog training and breeding in the U.S. and their titles are accepted by most specialized training schools! sign up today for only $650 when you bundle the program or $120 per week!
Alternative Board and Train (Clarksville only)
Do you have a busy schedule and find you do not have time to work with your dog every day? Would you like to go on vacation and have your dog trained while you're gone? Then our alternative board and train program is right for you! drop you dog into Pet Palace or have us pick the dog up from your home. We will train the dog for an hour and then return them. all training sessions are recorded and shared with owner. Starting at $1000 when you bundle the program or $200-$300 per week.
Puppy and Obedience Training
It’s important to teach the little ones! Enter into puppy classes for a mix of obedience and puppy socialization. Expose your puppy to all sorts of new sounds and feels! Have them make some new friends while learning how to be a dog! Starting at $350 when you bundle the program or $100 per week.
If you want a more intense program that focuses on obedience and problem solving, then our full obedience program is right for you. Learn to teach your dog 8-10 new commands and get rid of any bad behavior! starting at $650 when you bundle the program or $120 per week..
Both of these programs can be taken in private lesson or as part of a group class!
Online training
Go through our full obedience course with us 1 on 1 over zoom. Learn how to train your dog from the comfort of your own home with support from us over call, text, and video. Only $70 per session!!
Service Dog Program
We're now proud to announce our service dog program! this program is for disabled people looking to improve their life and reduce their symptoms via the use of a service dog. this is a high intensity program that includes interviews, assessments and 6 months to two years of training. Be aware that there is a high rate of dismissal among service dog programs and title is NOT guaranteed. please contact us and enquire about the application for this program.

Therapy Dog Program
if your dog has a calm personality and you want to start a new career with them you may want to consider our therapy dog program! Therapy dogs visit hospitals, assisted living facilities and other similar settings to provide comfort for patients going through hardship. To become a therapy dog, your dog must first have gone through obedience training and have the right temperament. please contact us for the application!
